Driving Directions to Bass Lake California
Bass Lake is located on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range,
7 miles from the exact geographical center of California
and 14 miles from the Southern entrance toYosemite National
Park. The following directions are meant to be a guide
in planning your trip to Bass Lake.

Once
you arrive in the town of Oakhurst:
Take Hwy 41 North through Oakhurst and turn right on Road 222 towards Bass Lake.
Travel 4-5 miles on this road until the road forks, STAY
TO THE LEFT. This road becomes Road 274. Travel another
2-3 miles and watch for a large sign on the right labeled
"PINES RESORT".
Turn right at this sign.Travel a short distance down
the hill to a stop sign and turn right. We are located in
the 2 story building next to the small park.
From Fresno: Take Highway 41 north 50 miles to Oakhurst. (Approximately 1 hour drive time.)
From Bakersfield: Take Highway 99 north 117 miles to Fresno. (Approximately 2½ hours drive time.)
From San Jose: Take 101 south, at Gilroy go east on Highway 152 to Highway 99, south to Madera, take Highway 145 left to Highway 41, turn north to Oakhurst. (Approximately 3½ hours drive time.)
From Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, and Merced: South on Highway 99 to Madera, take Highway 145 left to Highway 41, turn north to Oakhurst.
From Oakland and Bay Area: Take 580 east to Interstate-5 south, to 132 east, to Highway 99 to Madera. Take 145 left to Highway 41, turn north to Oakhurst. (Approximately 3½ hours drive time.)
From Los Angeles: Take Interstate-5 north 110 miles to Bakersfield. (Approximately 4½ hours drive time.)
