Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Chanukah and Happy New Year,
We sincerely hope your Holidays bring joy and happiness to you and your loved ones. Our thoughts and our prayers go out to those in need. Bass Lake Water Sports will continue to do its part to donate to those less fortunate. We are proud to be able to help The Manna House, Toys for Tots and several YHS projects this year and for years to come.
What an exciting year we have in front of us. Rain and snow is helping give us the confidence we need to expect a full lake for 2013 (well, that and a little help from PG&E). I will be surprised, based on the rainfall and expected rainfall, if we don’t see a full lake and a great year along with it. PG&E, along with the Department of Fish and Game are stocking more trout than I have ever seen from our ramp. They have stocked 5 thousand pounds of trout already, and I was informed more is on its way. These are not just catchable trout, but ‘trophy’ trout, 12”-16” and plenty of them. Fishing should be ‘off the hook’ this year, so bring the kids and the poles.
Bass Lake Water Sports is now part of the commercial properties in The Pines Village (Market, deli, banquets, weddings, bar, and the shops). We are excited about this merger, and look forward to bringing you new ways to enjoy your home and our ‘town’ in Bass Lake. As always, The Homeowners discount of 10% will continue in The Pines Market, and the 20% discount at Bass Lake Water Sports for any boat rental or store item, as well as the 20 cents off per gallon of gas at the Marina will continue. Our ‘club’ members enjoy additional discounts and use of our facilities (such as free showers, preferred parking, and freebies such as ice cream and t-shirts from time to time), so join the FREE club as soon as possible and get ‘stuff’ free! Look for additional discounts that will be offered to homeowners such as discounts on weddings or banquet facilities use, cover charges, lunch specials in our NEW deli restaurant, and discounts on the shops. We will also be opening a full scale SURF CLOTHING SHOP, with brands such as Volcom, Hurley, Reef, Sanuk and O’Neill just to name a few.
