At approximately 1:50 pm on August 18, 2014 a fire broke out in the 425A area of Oakhurst near the junction of Hwy 41 and Hwy 49.
From Channel 30: The Junction Fire burning near Oakhurst is now at 1,200 acres with no containment. And the Madera County Sheriff is declaring a local emergency.
