Hetch Hetchy Does Not Require Reservations
Hetch Hetchy does NOT require reservations. If you arrive during “off peak hours” you are allowed to remain in the park during “peak hours”. You do NOT have to show up on the 1st day of your 3-day reservation, but your reservation is still only valid for the original 3 days. Park gates are open 24 hours a day.
We still have to find out if locals can pass through the park at any time without a reservation or if they have to follow the new rule which states visitors can pass-through during “off peak hours” only. We’ll let you know when we know.
