Does anything need replacing? Is ongoing maintenance on roofing, heating, AC, paint, appliances, carpet, etc, being kept up?
Ask about quality of life issues, regarding not only the home you are considering, but the neighborhood.
Insist on clear and complete answers from the seller’s agent.
Don’t be afraid to keep asking questions until you fully understand everything!
