Hello Partners,

There’s a new fire incident, the Oak Fire burning at Hwy 140 and Carstens near Midpines in Mariposa County. The Mariposa Sheriff has issued an evacuation order.  See below:

OAK FIRE EVACUATION ORDER-  Triangle Rd (both sides of the road) from Hwy 140 to Carter Rd, All of Carter Rd. 

Evacuation Center has been established at the New Life Christian Church located at 5089 Cole Rd.

Road Closures-
Carstens Rd
Triangle Rd from Hwy 140 to Carter Rd
Buckingham Mt. Rd
Plumbar Creek Rd.

Hwy 140 is now closed at Midpines.  Yosemite has opened the Wawona Road (Hwy 41) to OUTBOUND (southbound) traffic from Yosemite Valley to South Entrance (toward Oakhurst) ONLY.
